Dubai Customs celebrates the 54th Union Day

Dubai, November 27 / WAM / Dubai Customs celebrated the 54th Federation Day of the UAE by organizing national events at its headquarters and customs centers, which reflected the values ​​of loyalty, belonging and the spirit of union among the department’s employees.

The celebration was attended by Rashid Obaid Al Sharid, Executive Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector, Atiq Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Customs Development Sector, and a number of directors of customs departments and centers and employees.

The event included a heritage village that included areas for popular dishes, handicrafts, henna drawing, pottery, and porcelain, in addition to the distribution of perfumes and incense, and the participation of Dubai Customs nursery children. It also witnessed performances by the Al-Ayyala band, and a photography corner with falcons.

As part of the celebration of the national occasion, the “Tadalal” employee happiness team organized electronic draws for 54 valuable prizes, with the aim of enhancing the spirit of belonging and spreading an atmosphere of joy among employees.

Dubai Customs stressed that the celebration of Union Day embodies the cohesion between the leadership and the people, and expresses social responsibility and the values ​​of giving established by the founding fathers under the leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God have mercy on him.”

The event witnessed a large attendance of employees who expressed their pride in belonging to the homeland, and renewed their pledge to continue working, to achieve more achievements under the wise leadership.
