Mohammed bin Rashid orders the release of 2,025 inmates from correctional and penal institutions in Dubai of various nationalities.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in his capacity as Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, ordered the release of 2,025 inmates from correctional and penal institutions in Dubai of various nationalities on the occasion of the 54th Union Day.

The Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai, Counselor Issam Issa Al-Humaidan, confirmed that the order of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to release this number of inmates from correctional institutions, which is the largest in the history of the emirate, coincides with a dear national occasion, affirming the high values on which the structure of the union was founded, which is becoming more solid day by day, as the release order translates His Highness’s keenness to give those included in the pardon the opportunity to return to the path of righteousness, and to engage. Again in a society that has never given up adhering to the values with which the nation embarked on its blessed journey, within a clear framework of respect for the law and adherence to its provisions, which is considered the basis for the progress and prosperity of civilized societies.

Counselor Al-Humaidan explained that the Public Prosecution immediately began coordinating with the Dubai Police General Command to implement the release order.
