Urgent: Al-Ahly achieves a well-deserved double victory over Barcelona
The Al-Ahly Club’s junior team, born in 2009, began its journey in the Al-Ahly International Junior Championship for U-16 by defeating the Spanish Barcelona Academy with two goals to one, in the first round of the tournament hosted by the club at its stadiums in the Nasr City branch.
Ahmed Abdel Hadi opened the scoring for Al-Ahly with a shot from inside the penalty area, taking advantage of a distinctive cross from the left front, before Mohamed added Shadi scored the second goal with a wonderful header after Mohannad Abdel Nabi’s pass from the right side, while Lucas Ognasyan reduced the difference by scoring Barcelona’s only goal.
The match witnessed the participation of the players in the following formation: Goalkeeper: Mohamed Obaid. Defense: Tamer’s sword – Muhammad Hamdi Qamar – About Eid Al-Aziz – Adam Youssef. Center: Shawqi Al-Saeed – Muhannad Abdel Nabi – Saif Karim – Ahmed Abdel Hadi – Mustafa Farag. Attack: Mohamed Shadi.
