Opening of the exhibition “From the Art of Diplomacy to the Art of Color” in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, 28 November / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, opened the new art exhibition by Ambassador Elie Al-Turk, entitled “From the Art of Diplomacy to the Art of Color,” hosted by the Millennium Al Rawda Hotel in Abu Dhabi, amid a remarkable presence of diplomats, businessmen, and cultural and social figures.
The exhibition is an artistic platform that highlights the growing role of Abu Dhabi in embracing the arts, promoting creativity, and providing visual experiences that reflect the cultural diversity and openness that characterize the UAE, in line with its vision of making culture a bridge of communication between peoples.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan toured the exhibition halls, during which he viewed the artistic works presented by Ambassador Elie Al-Turk, which numbered more than 65 paintings that combine multiple schools of art and are characterized by vibrant color combinations that reflect his long diplomatic experience and his humanitarian vision based on beauty, harmony and joy.
His Excellency stopped at a group of works that carry profound visual symbols and innovative color combinations, praising the high artistic level of the exhibition, the sophistication that characterizes the experience of the Turkish ambassador, and the aesthetic messages that his paintings carry that touch feelings and call for contemplation.
The opening witnessed the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Tareq Mneimneh, Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon to the United Arab Emirates, along with an elite group of representatives of the diplomatic corps, businessmen, artists, and art lovers, who praised the content of the exhibition and the distinctive artistic ability presented by Ambassador Elie Al-Turk in his works that express harmony between diplomacy and art.
The exhibition confirms Abu Dhabi’s position as a global cultural capital, attracting creative people, providing a spacious space to display fine arts, and launching artistic initiatives that promote human dialogue and enrich the creative scene.
The event concluded by saluting Ambassador Elie Al-Turk for his work, which added a distinctive artistic dimension to the event, and with appreciation to His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak for his continuous support for the cultural and artistic scene in the UAE, and his role in empowering the arts as an essential element in cultural communication between societies.
