Public parking is free in Dubai for two days… except for “multi-storey” and “Al Khail Gate”

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced that all public parking in the emirate will be free during the 54th Federation Day holiday of the United Arab Emirates, on Monday and Tuesday (December 1 and 2, 2025), in all parking lots except multi-storey parking and Al Khail Gate N-365, provided that the normal tariff application will resume as of Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

The Authority clarified the working hours for all its services during the Union Day holiday, and the working hours include customer happiness centres, toll-paid vehicle parks, public transport buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport means, and service provider centers (technical vehicle inspection).

Customer happiness centers

The Authority stated that all customer happiness centers will be closed on Monday and Tuesday (December 1 and 2), while the smart customer happiness centers in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and the Authority’s main building will continue to operate as usual around the clock.

Service Provider Centers (Technical Inspection)

The Authority confirmed that service provider centers will stop working during the two days of the Union Holiday (December 1 and 2), and official work will resume on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Dubai Metro (red and green line)

– Saturday, November 29, 2025: from 5:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

– Sunday, November 30, 2025: from 8:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

– Monday and Tuesday, December 1 and 2, 2025: from 5:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

Dubai Tram

– Saturday, November 29, 2025: from 6:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

– Sunday, November 30, 2025: from 9:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

– Monday and Tuesday, December 1 and 2, 2025: from 6:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

Public transportation buses (Dubai Bus)

The Authority called on the public to view updates regarding bus schedules during the two days of the holiday through the S’hail application.
