In August 2018, Dominique Lardan was working as a waitress in Saint-Tropez when she met Saad Lamjarred in a nightclub.

According to the statement she gave to investigators, she did not realize that he was a singer, even though she learned that night that millions were following his pages on social media platforms. She liked him and agreed to have a drink with him at the hotel where he was staying.

According to her account, he took her directly to his room and tried to kiss her, then forced her to lie on the bed, stripped her naked, and raped her.

Lmjarred, for his part, confirmed that the relationship was consensual.

He was a name that emerged in the United States in a rape case dating back to 2010, but The prosecutionsagainst him were dropped following a settlement with the victim, the value of which was not announced.

Also, he was charged with rape in April 2017 against the backdrop of incidents reported by a young French-Moroccan woman in which she confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted and beaten by him in Casablanca in 2015.

In France, he was sentenced in 2023 to six years in prison. The Paris Criminal Court convicted him of raping a young woman whom he had met in a nightclub in Paris and beating her, in a luxury hotel room in Paris in 2016.

Lmjarred, who appealed the ruling, always maintained his innocence, and only admitted that he "Brutally pushing the victim" On her face because she scratched him when they were kissing.
