Humaid bin Rashid directs that the names of the nation’s martyrs be named on streets near their family homes in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, directed that a number of streets in the Emirate of Ajman be named after 19 martyrs, provided that these streets are close to their family homes, in commemoration of their memory and in honor of their sacrifices, and so that their legacy remains present in the memory of society, and a source of pride and pride for their families.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman stressed that the martyrs are the loyal sons of the nation who gave their lives defending the land and preserving the union, and immortalizing their names in the streets of the emirate is only a sincere expression of their high status in the heart of the UAE’s leadership and its people. They are honorable examples of sacrifice and altruism, and will remain a source of pride and pride for successive generations.
His Highness added, “Giving the names of 19 martyrs to streets close to their families’ homes and areas is an appreciation for their giving, and it reinforces the connection of their memory with their environment and aims to ensure that their legacy remains present in the lives of their families. It is also an affirmation that the nation does not forget its children who sacrificed for it.”
His Highness continued, “We affirm that the interest in commemorating the heroism of the martyrs represents a well-established approach in the UAE, which places its people and their sacrifices at the top of its priorities, and honors those who sacrificed and gave their most precious blood and soul for the sake of their country. Honoring them will remain a firm pillar in the path and approach of the Emirate of Ajman, and a motivation to strengthen the values of loyalty and belonging in the souls of our youth.”
In turn, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, said that consolidating the memory of the nation’s martyrs on the streets of the emirate is a consistent and established act by a leadership that does not forget its sons and realizes the magnitude of their heroism that will remain shining beacons in every corner of the nation. These heroes are the pulse and spirit of the Union, and they are the most beautiful line in the glorious history of our state. They are men who carried its banner with steadfastness and courage in the fields of honor and duty. May our homeland remain dear, safe, reassured and stable.”
His Highness added, “The directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi are a profound expression of the great appreciation and high status that the wise leadership holds for the martyrs and their sacrifices, and an affirmation of a rooted Emirati doctrine based on loyalty to those who gave their lives and blood in defense of their land and honor. Naming the streets near their families’ homes is a tribute that carries in its essence a message of love and gratitude, and confirms that their giving and effort will remain engraved in their memory.” “The homeland and its conscience.”

For his part, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, said: “We value the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, which embody the high status that the nation’s martyrs enjoy with the leadership of the UAE, and confirm its keenness to honor them and immortalize their efforts, as they are an eternal symbol of loyalty and pride, and a role model for the people of the Emirates in the fields of duty and redemption.”
He added, “Naming the emirate’s streets after our honorable martyrs reflects the precious and precious sacrifices they made, and based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, we in the Municipality and Planning Department will be keen to choose the locations closest to the homes of the families and relatives of the martyrs, as part of our continuing efforts to consolidate national values and immortalize the nation’s martyrs in the department’s projects and initiatives.”
