A special festive atmosphere for the 54th Union Day at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 1st December / WAM / The Sheikh Zayed Festival in the Al Wathba area in Abu Dhabi today witnessed a distinctive celebratory atmosphere on the occasion of the country’s 54th Federation Day, as part of an integrated national, cultural, heritage and artistic program presented by the festival on this national occasion.

Large numbers of visitors of various nationalities flocked to participate in these celebrations, which aim to consolidate national identity, cultural heritage, and authentic Emirati values.

The pavilions of the participating countries, the heritage village, the pavilions of government departments, and the areas of partners and sponsors presented various activities for all segments of society. The festival also witnessed special performances of the “Union Day Caravan,” and military music bands traveled throughout the festival presenting patriotic pieces that express the spirit of union and belonging.

The Union Day celebrations at the Sheikh Zayed Festival 2025-2026, through this diverse program, consolidate the image of the festival as a comprehensive national platform that expresses the values ​​of union, tolerance and coexistence, and presents to the world a civilizational model that combines authenticity and openness to the cultures of peoples, at a time when there is a renewed sense of pride in national achievements and in the process of union that began 54 years ago.

In its current edition, the Sheikh Zayed Festival includes a group of new destinations that have enriched the visitors’ experience, including the Al Wathba Winterland amusement park, which provides an integrated entertainment environment suitable for all ages.

“Al Wathba Boulevard” is also a destination that brings together international restaurants and cafes and Emirati entrepreneurs, while “Al Nawader Reserve” offers visitors a distinctive cognitive and educational experience.
