"Sharjah Civil Defense"On Union Day, we celebrate achievements in development, security and stability
Sharjah, 1st December / WAM / His Excellency Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, said that the celebration of the 54th Union Day represents a national milestone in which we restore the meanings of the Union and the comprehensive renaissance it brought that made the UAE a model of development, security and stability.
He stressed that the accumulated achievements achieved by the state would not have been possible without the vision of the wise leadership, which placed people at the top of its priorities and supported institutions to carry out their role to the fullest. He pointed out that the Civil Defense is participating in this event with a spirit of pride, realizing that the responsibility to protect lives and property is an integral part of the construction process that the state has begun since the establishment of the Union.
He pointed out that the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority is continuing to enhance its readiness and develop its operational and technical system by investing in training national cadres, raising response efficiency, and modernizing equipment in accordance with the best international standards.
For his part, His Excellency Brigadier Saeed Obaid Rashid Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, stressed that the 54th Union Day embodies the values of unity, giving and solidarity on which the UAE was founded and brings to mind the blessed march led by the founding fathers and continued by the wise leadership with an ambitious vision that led the country to a leading global position.
He pointed out that this day holds a special significance for Civil Defense members who express their love for the homeland through the performance of their daily duties and constant readiness to serve the community. Celebrating this national occasion is a tribute to every sincere effort made by those working in the field and in the various departments.
