American optimism about the possibility of reaching an agreement on the Ukraine war


White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said that the US administration "Very optimistic" Regarding the possibility of reaching an agreement that would put an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine, after Florida, and on the eve of the arrival of the US President’s envoy Steve Witkoff to Moscow.
Levitt said on Monday: "I think the administration is very optimistic. President Donald Trump and his team have worked hard on these endeavors and they all want this war to end."
She added: "Just yesterday, they had very good talks with the Ukrainians in Florida and now, of course, Special Envoy Witkov is on his way to Russia where he is scheduled to meet with President Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky hopes to meet with Trump
