Six people died after a fire broke out in a building in central Brussels

Six people were killed and two others were injured after a fire broke out on Tuesday evening, inside a building undergoing renovation work in central Brussels, where the victims were found inside one of the elevators at the site of the accident.

The spokesman for the Labor Audit Office, Brecht Speybroek, explained that The firebroke out on the second floor of the building located in a major shopping area, before the fire spread to the elevator, indicating that 250 workers were evacuated from the site.
