"Dubai Aerospace Enterprise" Signs long-term agreements with AJet to lease 10 Boeing aircraft

Dubai, December 3, 2017 – Dubai Aviation Enterprises announced today the signing of long-term agreements with AJet and Turkish Airlines to lease 10 new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, with the aircraft scheduled to be delivered during the years 2026 and 2027.

Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, said: “We are pleased to have the trust of Turkish Airlines, with whom we have an established relationship that extends for years, to provide it with solutions that support the needs of the growing AJet fleet through these advanced and highly fuel-efficient aircraft, in line with the rapid development the Turkish market is witnessing, as air traffic recorded an increase of 5.7% during the first half of 2025, according to the Turkish Ministry of Transport.

It is noteworthy that DAE currently owns, operates and is committed to owning a total of 236 Boeing aircraft, including 119 aircraft from the 737 MAX family.
