With the wedding of 54 grooms from Gaza… “The Gallant Knight 3” coincides with the UAE’s celebrations of Union Day

Operation “The Gallant Knight 3” coincided with the UAE’s celebration of its 54th Union Day by organizing a mass wedding that included 54 grooms from the Gaza Strip, in a move that carries a message of hope and humanitarian support for youth and families in light of the difficult circumstances that the Strip is going through.

This group wedding was organized under the slogan “The Dress of Joy”, within the framework of the UAE’s ongoing initiatives to support social stability, and to give families in the Gaza Strip moments of joy and hope amid the difficult circumstances and daily life challenges.

Ali Al Shehhi, Head of the UAE Mission in the Gaza Strip, stressed that the organization of Operation Gallant Knight 3 for the wedding of 54 grooms from the Gaza Strip reflects the UAE’s consistent approach, which has made human happiness the focus of its policy. He pointed out that the “Gown of Joy” initiative carries a message of steadfastness from the people of Gaza, and confirms that joy is stronger than rubble, and that hope is capable of embracing reality, no matter the difficulties.

Al Shehhi extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds who set sail today in a new life, hoping that their wedding will be the beginning of a bright future, noting that these happy moments represent a living testimony to the ability of young people and families in the Gaza Strip to celebrate life despite daily challenges, and confirm that joy is able to blossom in the most difficult circumstances.

The ceremony, in which more than 21,000 people from various regions of the Gaza Strip participated, witnessed various artistic and heritage performances, most notably popular dabke performances and folkloric songs that embody Palestinian identity, in addition to musical acts and entertainment shows that added to the celebration an atmosphere of joy and pleasure for all attendees.

Grooms participating in the mass wedding expressed their joy and gratitude to the UAE for this noble humanitarian initiative, stressing that the “dress of joy” brought back their smile and gave them unforgettable moments of happiness and hope amid daily challenges.
