The start of the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit

The 46th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council began today at Sakhir Palace in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the participation of leaders and heads of delegations of the GCC countries.

On behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Office, heads the state delegation to the summit.

During the summit, the leaders will discuss a number of files related to joint Gulf action, most notably the paths of economic and security integration, in addition to Arab, regional and international issues of common concern, in a way that enhances the role of the Gulf Cooperation Council in supporting regional stability and consolidating cooperation between its countries.
