The UAE Embassy in Amman celebrates the 54th Union Day

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Jordanian capital, Amman, held a joyful celebration on the occasion of the 54th Union Day.
At the forefront of welcoming the guests were the Chargé d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Amman, Counselor Hamad Al Matroushi, and members of the diplomatic and military mission. The celebration was attended by Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, senior Jordanian officials, represented by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nancy Namrouqa, a number of senior officials, men of the diplomatic, military and judicial corps, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, representatives of political, economic, cultural and media activities, directors and leaders of civil society institutions and international organizations, in addition to a number of sheikhs. Al Matrooshi gave a speech on this occasion, in which he expressed the celebrations of the 54th Union Day, reviewing the blessed development process and the great achievements that have been achieved. During his speech, he stressed that the celebration of Union Day this year comes under the slogan “United”, and in conjunction with the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, 2025 as the Year of Society.
He touched on the deep-rooted fraternal Emirati-Jordanian relations that have witnessed continuous development at various levels.
On the sidelines of the celebration, an exhibition was held in which a number of Emirati companies operating in Jordan participated. Poetry recitals were also presented by poets who sang about the achievements and status of the UAE and the distinguished bilateral relations. An exhibition of photos, heritage and popular foods was also held over the days in the Abdali area in the capital, Amman.
