Signing of an agreement between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia regarding the avoidance of double taxation

Within the framework of the fourth meeting of the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council, which was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an agreement was signed between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the avoidance of double taxation. It was signed on the Bahraini side by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, while it was signed on the Bahraini side by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy. His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance and National Economy stressed the depth of the close historical relations and the deep-rooted fraternal ties that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the distinguished model they constitute based on solid foundations of cooperation and joint work in various fields. His Excellency pointed out the continuous development and growth witnessed by Bahraini-Saudi relations thanks to the care and attention they receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al. Saud, King of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He pointed to the prominent role played by the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his brother His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in strengthening strategic partnerships and pushing bilateral work paths towards broader horizons in order to achieve common goals and aspirations.

This agreement aims to further develop economic relations and enhance cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This agreement constitutes an important step in the path of consolidating economic, investment and trade partnerships between the two brotherly countries, which contributes to reaching more integrated levels.
