The death toll from floods and landslides in Sri Lanka has risen to 607 people, according to what the Disaster Management Center announced today, Friday, while hopes of finding survivors among 214 missing people are diminishing.

The center explained that Cyclone “Dituwa” It affected more than two million people, before leaving the country on Saturday, after causing widespread devastation on the island, which has a population of 22 million people.
