"House of goodness" 4,200 breakfast meals are distributed daily in Ajman
Dubai, March 11, 2017 (WAM) – The Ajman branch of the Beit Al Khair Society actively participates in the Ramadan campaign “A Known Right 3,” which the Society organizes annually to promote the values of social solidarity and provide support to needy families and workers during the holy month of Ramadan.
Amna Al Balushi, director of the association’s branch in Ajman, confirmed that the branch is implementing a daily program to distribute breakfast meals in four main locations in the emirate, where 2,200 meals are distributed daily, with 500 meals in three locations and 700 meals in one location.
She added that “Beit Al Khair” is setting up two Ramadan tents in Ajman, through which 1,000 meals are distributed daily in each tent, bringing the total number of meals distributed daily in the Emirate of Ajman to 4,200 iftar meals as part of the association’s efforts to support those who are fasting and ease the burdens on deserving groups.
She pointed out that the Ajman branch distributed Ramadan food to 1,452 beneficiary families, with a total value of 1,350,700 dirhams, to enable families to secure their basic food needs since the beginning of the holy month.
