Salman Al-Zahrani, one of the participants in organizing the Ramadan iftar trip and from the Sanad Al-Khair Association for Human Services in Jeddah, says that what the Grand Mosque is witnessing as the Maghrib call to prayer approaches represents a unique scene that is not repeated anywhere in the world, as it is trending. He added that the work in this initiative depends on an integrated system of organization and coordination between the competent authorities and the participating associations, indicating that the associations are responsible for distributing meals in specific areas within the courtyards of the Sanctuary according to a precise organization that ensures the flow of work and the absence of overlapping tasks between the participating parties.

He stated that the Sanad Al-Khair Association for Human Services in Jeddah participates daily in distributing between two thousand To five thousand breakfast meals for those who are fasting, within the locations designated for them, pointing out that each association knows the scope of its work and the number of meals allocated to it, which contributes to preventing any interference between travel or the occurrence of organizational problems.

Al-Zahrani indicated that the Preparing meals goes through a series of organized logistical procedures, starting from the warehouses designated for preserving foodstuffs, where dry meals are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the competent authorities and with great care, while adhering to health standards approved by regulatory authorities, including the Food and Drug Authority.

He explained that the meals, after being prepared, are transported via refrigerated and air-conditioned cars to maintain their quality, as they head to the vicinity of the Grand Mosque before the afternoon prayer, after which volunteers and human cadres begin to prepare them. He added that the cadres working in this volunteer work are distributed with great precision over the different trips, so that each team assumes responsibility for its location according to a pre-prepared organizational plan, which contributes to the speed of preparing the trip and receiving the fasting people sufficiently before Iftar time.

Al-Zahrani stressed that this precise organization did not come randomly, but rather is the result of early planning that begins before the month of Ramadan. In coordination between the competent authorities and participating associations, to ensure smooth workflow and achieve the highest levels of organization and service to the guests of God.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing that the organization and integration achieved in the Grand Mosque in serving those who are fasting reflects the great efforts exerted by the state and the concerned authorities, in addition to the contributions of society and charitable societies, saying that this joint work embodies the spirit of solidarity and cooperation in the month of goodness, and gives those who are fasting a distinctive faith experience in the purest parts of the earth.
