المملكة: The Speaker of the Indian Parliament meets a delegation from the Saudi-Indian Parliamentary Friendship Committee


Speaker of the Indian House of Representatives, Om Birla, met at the House headquarters in the capital, New Delhi, with a delegation of members Parliamentary relations, and the exchange of experiences, in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples, and discussed a number of issues of common interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of intensifying parliamentary visits, which contributes to strengthening cooperation paths between the Shura Council and the Indian House of Representatives.

In a related context, the delegation of members of the Shura Council met with members of the Saudi-Indian Parliamentary Friendship Committee within the framework of the current official visit carried out by the member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Estimates Committee of the House of Representatives in Republic of India, Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal.

Discussion of common topics

During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, in addition to discussing available opportunities To develop bilateral cooperation at the parliamentary level.
The delegation also undertook a field tour during which it visited the historical museum in the Council building and attended part of the regular session held by the House of Representatives.
