The UAE sends the seventh aid plane to support those affected by the Sri Lanka floods

Abu Dhabi, December 7 / WAM / The UAE, through its air bridge and field team, continues to support the friendly Sri Lankan people in the areas affected by the floods. It sent humanitarian aid plane No. 7 to support those affected in Daytoh.

The UAE provided humanitarian aid, including food and shelter materials, with the total aid so far reaching 89 tons.

The UAE sent an integrated relief team that includes the Joint Operations Command, the Emirates International Aid Agency, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and the Emirates Search and Rescue Team of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority.

The Emirates Search and Rescue Team was able to recover the bodies of 18 flood victims in the designated work area and provide field ambulance to 8 affected people.
