"Islamic affairs" Participates in a conference in Kosovo
Pristina, December 9 / WAM / A delegation from the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat participates in the international conference organized by the Institute of Islamic Research and Studies in Pristina, Kosovo, from December 8-10.
The conference, which is held under the slogan “Endowments: A Pillar for Community Development and Preservation of Identity,” witnesses the attendance of an elite group of scholars, university professors, researchers, and representatives of endowment institutions from the Arab and Islamic worlds.
The conference aims to discuss the historical and contemporary role of endowments in promoting economic and social development and exchange experiences between researchers, experts and endowment institutions from various countries at the global level.
The authority’s delegation includes Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Waqf and Zakat Sector at the Authority, and a number of officials and specialists in endowment affairs.
The Authority’s delegation participated in a main session within the conference program to review the distinguished endowment experiences and best practices in developing the endowment sector.
