"Serious threat".. American fighter jets flying over the Gulf of Venezuela

Two US Army fighter planes flew over the Gulf of Venezuela in what appears to be the closest proximity of US warplanes to the Latin country’s airspace since the start of the pressure campaign launched by the administration of US President Donald Trump.

Public flight tracking websites showed that two FA-18 fighter jets… Two US Navy personnel flew over the Gulf, a body of water bordered by Venezuela, and its maximum width does not exceed about 240 kilometers, and they stayed for more than 30 minutes above the water.
