"Knowledge of Dubai" Quality assurance visits to private schools will resume starting from the 2026-2027 academic year

Dubai, June 3 / WAM / The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai announced the resumption of quality assurance visits to private schools in the emirate, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, as part of a renewed approach that focuses on supporting schools, improving the student experience, raising levels of academic achievement, and enhancing parents’ confidence in the quality of education in Dubai.
The step comes in line with the objectives of the Dubai Education Strategy 2033, which places the student at the heart of the educational process and seeks to provide high-quality education to all students in a way that supports the objectives of the Dubai Plan 2033 and its economic and social agendas and enhances the emirate’s position among the best global cities in terms of quality of education.
The Authority confirmed that the Quality Assurance and Compliance Foundation continues to develop quality assurance tools as a basic pillar for continuous improvement, raising school readiness and enhancing their competitiveness, while it continued during the past two academic years to monitor the quality of education through a set of tools that included reviewing self-evaluation, data analysis, visits to new schools, and providing support and guidance to private schools.
The authority explained that quality assurance visits during the next academic year will adopt a flexible, multi-track approach based on data and the needs of each school, as it will include comprehensive visits carried out by specialized teams and ending with the issuance of detailed reports, in addition to short follow-up visits that focus on specific axes and conclude with brief reports that clarify strengths and opportunities for development.
Fatima Ibrahim Belraheef, Executive Director of the Authority’s Quality Assurance and Compliance Foundation, said that the resumption of visits strengthens the partnership with schools and the educational community to ensure that every student in Dubai receives a world-class education, noting that short-notice visits contribute to providing a more realistic picture of daily school life and support the development of performance in a sustainable manner.
She added that the authority will apply during the visits the framework of school monitoring and evaluation standards in the UAE to ensure consistency and clarity and consolidate the quality of educational outcomes in accordance with international best practices.
