"Energy and infrastructure" divorce "Home mortgage release package after payment"

Dubai, December 10 / WAM / The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, in cooperation with the Emirates Development Bank and the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in the Government of Ajman, launched the “Housing Mortgage Release After Payment” package, as part of the Ministry’s efforts, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, to redesign government services and make them more flexible and efficient.

The package allows the beneficiaries of the housing program to complete the procedures for releasing the home mortgage after paying the dues, within a unified digital system that redesigns the journey after repaying the loan, and turns it into a single digital experience that is completed within just one working day, without the need for any visit or documents.

It aims to enable Emirati families to complete home ownership procedures after repaying the loan in an immediate manner without any administrative burdens, ensuring an easy and transparent transition towards the stage of residential stability, and reflecting the state’s focus on providing the elements of quality of life, through simpler, faster and more flexible government services.

This package comes in line with the Year of Society 2025 and the Year of the Family 2026, which confirm the position of the Emirati family at the heart of national priorities, enhancing their quality of life, and supporting their residential stability as one of the most important pillars of community cohesion, and an embodiment of the UAE’s approach to designing future services centered around the citizen and meeting his needs in a simpler, more flexible and effective manner.

This launch comes in the context of the national trend towards building a more effective and integrated future government that relies on simplifying procedures and eliminating bureaucracy, in line with the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision and the goals of the UAE Centennial 2071.

The launch ceremony of the package, which was held yesterday at the Emirates Towers in Dubai, was attended by His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, along with a number of government leaders, in addition to representatives of partner agencies and a number of beneficiaries.

His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei said, in his speech during the ceremony, that the launch of the “home mortgage release package after payment” represents an important milestone in the path of developing government services, indicating that it is a practical embodiment of the vision of our wise leadership in simplifying procedures, eliminating bureaucracy, and providing services that rely on innovation and digitization and place the customer at the heart of the development process. The Ministry, in cooperation with its partners in the federal and local authorities, was keen to completely redesign the customer’s journey to become an integrated digital service that achieves In one step and without the need for any visit or documents, which enhances the efficiency of the housing system and improves the quality of life.

He added that this package confirms the level of government integration that characterizes the UAE, and the role of data and digital systems in improving services and accelerating their delivery, pointing out that the Ministry will continue to work on developing more proactive and flexible services, and building an agile government system that supports the goals of the We Are the Emirates 2031 vision and keeps pace with the aspirations of our society towards a more advanced and sustainable future.

The package aims to bring about a qualitative shift in the customer’s journey, as it contributes to reducing procedures from 5 to 1, canceling documents from 6 to 0, reducing visits from 5 to 0, and reducing the duration of service completion from 7 working days to one day.

The “home mortgage release package after payment” is based on a broad government integration that brings together the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, the Emirates Development Bank, and the relevant federal and local government agencies. The first phase has been implemented in the Emirate of Ajman, and work is underway to complete the connection with the rest of the Emirates within the next stages. With the adoption of immediate digital connectivity for transactions, automatic cancellation of direct debits after payment, and notification of all parties automatically without any manual intervention, which contributes to enhancing the speed of completion and raising the level of accuracy and quality in service provision.

The package embodies the vision of the UAE government to provide government services that are designed around the customer and based on innovation and digitization. It also reflects the ministry’s commitment to developing a more efficient and flexible future housing system that supports quality of life and enhances community confidence in smart government services. Through these achievements, the ministry continues its role in supporting the process of comprehensive government transformation towards a government without complexity that relies on data, integration, and innovation to serve humanity.
