"Islamic cooperation" Condemns new Israeli settlement plans in the West Bank
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned, today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation authorities’ approval of the construction of 764 new settlement units, and its announcement of a plan to establish 17 new settlements in the occupied West Bank during the next five years, within the framework of annexation and expansion plans, and attempts to impose its alleged sovereignty over the Palestinian land.
The organization confirmed that the Israeli colonial settlement policy constitutes a war crime and a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, most notably Security Council Resolution No. 2334, in addition to the legal advisory opinion issued by the Court of Justice. International.
The organization renewed its call to the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities and take immediate measures to put an end to all crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities.
