المملكة: "the environment": 50 stations monitor precipitation in 9 regions within 24 hours


I registered Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region The highest average rainfall amounted to (9.8) mm, at the Radwan monitoring station in Al-Muwayh Governorate in the region, among (9) areas in the Kingdom that witnessed scattered amounts of rain during the past twenty-four hours.

According to the daily report of Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Regarding the amounts of rainfall in all regions of the Kingdom, (50) hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded during one day rainfall in the regions of (Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Al-Qassim, Al-Sharqiyah, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders).

Riyadh Region

The report indicated that the Riyadh region recorded (7.0) mm in Alqah – Al-Zulfi, And (5.2) mm in Al Majmaah, and (4.8) mm in Dawadmi Airport, while the Medina region recorded (0.8) mm at the Al-Fara monitoring station – Al-Madina, and the Qassim region recorded (6.5) mm at the Unayzah station, (6.0) mm in Al-Mithnab, and (5.6) mm at the Quba monitoring station – Al-Asiyah.

The report indicated that The Eastern Region recorded (8.5) mm at the Khafji monitoring station, (8.4) mm in Hafr Al-Batin, and (5.2) mm at the Hafr Al-Batin Air Base Station, while the Tabuk region recorded (4.0) mm on the Ibrahim Al-Khalil – Tabuk road, (2.2) mm in Rahib – Tabuk, and (2.0) mm in Asila in the Ammar – Tabuk state.

Area Hail

Also, Hail recorded (2.2) mm in the Al-Wurud neighborhood – Al-Shannan, and the northern border region at Turaif Airport recorded (6.4) mm, (6.1) mm in Al-Jarani Turaif, and (5.0) mm at the Khalidiya monitoring station in Turaif, and finally the Al-Jawf region recorded (4.5) mm in Ain Al-Hawas in Qurayyat, (3.2) mm in Al-Hammad in Qurayyat, and (2.2) mm in Tabarjal.
