She explained that the oversight tours during the month of November resulted in monitoring and addressing 110,071 violations in various areas of municipal work, indicating that the oversight work is based on an advanced technical system, which includes a system "My lens" Artificial intelligence and geospatial analyzes to detect visual distortions, in addition to the use of surveillance cameras inside food and health facilities and the application of approved lists to monitor commercial, food and construction activities.
Regulatory responsibilities
The Ministry confirmed that municipal oversight is an essential part of its regulatory and operational responsibilities, given its connection to the safety of passers-by, the cleanliness of neighborhoods, food safety, and the quality of daily services on which residents depend, noting that these efforts have contributed In raising compliance rates in commercial and food activities, enhancing food safety, improving the urban landscape, and regulating the urban environment in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Ministry stated that it will continue during the coming period to expand the scope of oversight supported by smart technologies, raise the efficiency of responding to reports, and increase the presence of field teams in neighborhoods, thus enhancing the quality of municipal services and maintaining a safe and balanced urban environment.

The Ministry called on community members and establishments to support oversight efforts by reporting violations through approved channels, stressing that Compliance with rules and regulations is a shared responsibility, and partnership with the community represents a fundamental pillar in developing the urban landscape and achieving a cleaner, safer, and higher-quality environment in the Kingdom’s cities.
