Enppi defeats Al-Ahly with a Panenka goal in the opening of the League Cup matches
The match between Al-Ahly and Enppi, in the first round of the group stage of the Egyptian League Cup 2025/2026, ended with the Petroleum team winning 1-0 at Al-Salam Stadium.
The match witnessed an offensive start from both teams, but Enppi’s threat was more evident, and they were able to open the scoring in the 29th minute through Mohamed Hamdy, who executed a kick. A Panenka-style penalty, putting the ball to the right of Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed Siha.
