A spokesman for the German Ministry of Defense said, on Friday evening, that the main mission of German soldiers in Poland will be "Engineering activities".
He added that these works may include "Building fortifications, digging trenches, laying barbed wire, and erecting tank barricades".

The spokesman did not specify the exact number of participating forces, and merely said that "An average number of two digits"
These forces are expected to participate in the project starting from the second quarter of 2026, until the end of 2027.
