The UAE Ambassador presents his credentials to the Syrian President

Hamad Rashid Al Habsi presented his credentials to the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al Shara, as Ambassador and Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Syrian Arab Republic, during an official ceremony that took place at the People’s Palace in Damascus.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, to the Syrian President, and their wishes for his country and its people for further progress and prosperity.
For his part, Al Shara conveyed to the Ambassador his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, and his wishes for the leadership, government and people of the UAE for further growth and development.
Al-Sharaa wished the ambassador success in his work tasks, and the development and strengthening of bilateral relations in various fields that bring the two countries together, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his tasks.
For his part, Al Habsi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in the Syrian Arab Republic, and his keenness to consolidate and activate bilateral relations in various fields in a way that contributes to strengthening the bonds of fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Syrian Arab Republic were reviewed, and ways to develop them were discussed to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
