ACWA Power acquires power generation and water desalination assets in Kuwait and Bahrain
Company announced "Aqua Power" It successfully completed the acquisition of gas power generation assets with a capacity of 4.6 gigawatts, and water desalination assets with a production capacity of 1.1 million cubic meters per day, in addition to the relevant operation and maintenance companies in Bahrain and Kuwait, from a subsidiary of Saudi Engie.
She said in a statement on: "Saudi Arabia trading"Today, Monday, all preconditions stipulated in the sales agreement regarding the Bahrain stations have been completed, including obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals.
She added that with regard to the assets of the Kuwait project, there are still some remaining normal technical conditions, and after they are met, the deal will be completed.
