1.9% annual inflation rate in Saudi Arabia during November 2025
Record the consumer price index (inflation) in Saudi Arabia, an annual increase of 1.9% during the month of November 2025, compared to its counterpart in the previous year (November 2024).
The report attributed the consumer price index "Inflation" Issued by the Statistics Authority, the rise led to an increase in the prices of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other types of fuel by 4.3%, the prices of food and beverages by 1.3%, and transportation prices by 1.5%.
Inflation in Saudi Arabia
In the same context, the prices of the food and beverage section increased by 1.3%, affected by the increase in the prices of fresh, chilled or frozen meat by 1.6%.
The prices of the transportation section increased by 1.5%, driven by an increase in the prices of passenger transportation services by 6.4%, and the personal care, social protection, and other goods and services section recorded an increase
by 6.6%, driven by an increase in the prices of other personal effects by 19.9%; Affected by the increase in the prices of the Jewelry and Watches section by 21.6%.
The prices of the Insurance and Financial Services section increased by 5.1%, driven by an increase in the prices of the Insurance Group by 8.4%, and the prices of the Entertainment, Sports and Culture section increased by 1.3%, driven by an increase in the prices of holiday offers by 2.1%.
On the other hand, the prices of the Furniture, Home Appliances and Regular Home Maintenance section decreased by 0.3%, affected by the decline in the prices of furniture and furnishings. And carpets by 3.3%.
The prices of the restaurants and accommodation services division fell by 0.5%, affected by the decrease in the prices of accommodation services by 2.3%,
High inflation
On a monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index recorded "Inflation" In the month of November 2025 AD, a relative increase of 0.1% compared to October 2025 AD.
The prices of the housing section, water, electricity, gas, and other types of fuel increased by 0.3%, driven by an increase in the prices of the actual rental group for housing by 0.4%.
The prices of the transportation section increased by 0.3%, the personal care, social protection, and other goods and services section increased by 0.3%, and the restaurants and accommodation services section increased by 0.3%. By 0.1%, the Information and Communications Department by 0.1%, and the Tobacco Department by 0.1%. On the other hand, the prices of the Food and Beverages Department decreased by 0.2%, the Health Department by 0.2%, the Entertainment, Sports, and Culture Department by 0.1%, and the Insurance and Financial Services Department by 0.1%. Shoes, and education services, and no significant relative change was recorded in November 2025.
