Hamdan bin Mohammed directs that Dubai Customs be the best in the world in commercial services and facilities

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “During my visit to Dubai Customs, I was briefed on the work strategies aimed at facilitating the movement of trade and enhancing Dubai’s economic competitiveness, in accordance with the highest international standards.”

His Highness added: “We have directed Dubai Customs to be the best in the world in providing customs services and trade facilities, because excellence in customs work is the first line of defense for our economy, and a fundamental pillar of our global competitiveness.”

His Highness continued: “The next stage requires a more intelligent and flexible system, and the ability to keep pace with rapid transformations, and for Dubai Customs to be the standard and the model to be emulated.”

His Highness explained: “We are proud of the soldiers of the economy, of the Dubai Customs team, of their thinking and achievement, of their global initiatives, and of their will for Dubai to always remain in first place in the world.”
