Registration for the Sharjah Real Estate Excellence Award is open

Sharjah, December 16 / WAM / The Real Estate Registration Department in the Emirate of Sharjah announced the opening of registration to participate in the Real Estate Excellence Award 2025 in its four categories for various institutions, companies, associations and real estate offices operating in the Emirate of Sharjah, starting tomorrow until next January 29.

The launch of the new session comes within the framework of the department’s efforts to enhance a competitive real estate environment that keeps pace with modern developments and supports Sharjah’s vision of achieving sustainable real estate development that contributes to strengthening the emirate’s economy and serving its community.

This year, the award witnessed a fundamental and comprehensive development of the evaluation criteria with the aim of enhancing the quality of performance and raising the levels of innovation and sustainability within the real estate market in the emirate. These updates came to keep pace with Sharjah’s trends towards building a more efficient and modern real estate system, as the new standards focused on environmental sustainability through the application of energy and water conservation systems and the adoption of green building certificates, in addition to promoting digital transformation through the use of smart systems, electronic property management platforms, and artificial intelligence applications in real estate services.

The developed standards also included enhancing financial efficiency and operational sustainability, improving risk and safety management mechanisms through emergency plans and approved safety certificates, in addition to improving training and qualification programs for real estate cadres and raising levels of customer satisfaction.

The updates extended to include enhancing standards of transparency and disclosure in owners’ associations by publishing periodic reports and making information clearly available, in addition to supporting social responsibility and encouraging active participation in community initiatives by real estate development companies.

His Excellency Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Department, confirmed that the award has become a prominent institutional milestone that reflects the strategic vision of the emirate in consolidating the concepts of excellence and innovation and enhancing the sector’s readiness to keep pace with rapid changes. He explained that the new session comes with a renewed spirit that responds to the requirements of the next stage and contributes to raising the level of performance and raising the efficiency of services, calling on companies and real estate offices to actively participate and provide inspiring models of initiatives and practices that enhance the quality of work and establish a culture of quality and compliance.

For his part, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of the Department’s Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Office, pointed out that the development of the award embodies the Department’s keenness to keep pace with the best international experiences and adopt an advanced approach to evaluation in a way that ensures achieving the highest levels of integrity and objectivity, stressing that the arbitration mechanism will adopt clear professional foundations based on reliability and accuracy to ensure honoring entities that have made a real impact and contributed effectively to supporting the sustainability of the real estate sector and enhancing its competitiveness.

In its new version, the award covers four main categories, including: real estate offices, real estate development companies, boards of directors of owners’ association associations, and administrative supervision services companies, with the aim of ensuring the comprehensiveness of the evaluation and its suitability to the various components of the real estate market in the emirate. The department also encouraged applicants to adhere to the participation requirements and provide supporting materials that enhance the opportunities for an objective and fair evaluation.

The results of the award will be announced and the winners will be honored during April 2026 during an official ceremony organized by the department to celebrate the entities that have achieved advanced levels of performance, achievement and innovation.
