From El Fasher to Wad Madani The horrors of civil war in Sudan must end

Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “From El Fasher to Wad Madani, the horrors of the civil war in Sudan must be put to an end.”

Gargash added: “Murders on an ethnic basis are heinous crimes that require accountability and justice.”

He continued, saying: “There is no military solution, but rather an immediate ceasefire, unhindered access to humanitarian aid, and a smooth transition to an independent civilian government, as stated in the Quartet statement.”

He added: “Throwing bodies into canals and burying them in mass graves… CNN is investigating how the Sudanese army carried out ethnic-based killings.”
