The General Union honors Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi in recognition of his national role in serving Egyptians abroad

Professor Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture, received at the Council’s headquarters Engineer Ismail Ahmed Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed ways of joint cooperation between the Supreme Council of Culture and the General Union of Egyptians Abroad in what serves the national interest of the Egyptian state and the investment goals of Egyptians abroad. The meeting was attended by the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, Mohamed Abu Al-Eish, member of the Union’s Board of Directors, Walid Abu Al-Fadl, Secretary-General of the Union in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Heba Al-Basiouni, Head of the Economic Committee.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture, praised during the meeting the national role played by the people of Egypt abroad, whether through their contributions to economic and development support, enhancing Egypt’s positive image, preserving the Egyptian identity abroad, and supporting the efforts of the Egyptian state, adding that among the goals that the Council is working on is to reach culture to the broadest sectors of Egyptians wherever they are, and developing talents. Professor Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture, welcomed the direction of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad to search for investment opportunities in various sectors, pointing out that the Supreme Council of Culture is looking forward to real partnerships based on cultural and knowledge exchange, experiences and achieving common interests, stressing that the Supreme Council of Culture is fully prepared To sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in arts, literature, sciences, cultural and intellectual development And publishing with local or international bodies would enhance The civilizational and cultural role Egyptian and support the role played by the people of Egypt abroad in all fields. For his part, Engineer Ismail Ahmed Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, praised the great national role that Professor Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi played and continues to play, pointing to his spotless record as an exceptional and unique statesman known for his integrity, competence, provision of services, and overcoming all difficulties for Egyptians in the most successful and shortest way, the least expensive, and the most capable of absorbing and containing the people of Egypt In all the countries in which he worked and served all sectors of Egyptians abroad.
Engineer Ismail Ahmed Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, reviewed the national and economic roles played by the people of Egypt abroad, whose numbers exceed more than 14 million Egyptians, all of whom receive top priority and great attention from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Engineer Ismail Ahmed emphasized Ali, that the Union intends to work hard to implement a number of service projects that will reflect on the Egyptian citizen at home, and achieve a rewarding investment return for Egyptians abroad who contribute to these projects, and that the Union’s specialized committees are working on presenting feasibility studies for many opportunities that will be presented at the beginning of next year, 2026 AD.
