4 races for the His Highness the President of the State Endurance Cup in the village of Boudheib
Abu Dhabi, December 16 / WAM / The Boudheib International Endurance Village in the Al Khatm area in Abu Dhabi will host the activities of the His Highness the President of the State Endurance Cup, which includes 4 races, namely the private stables, the women’s and the giants, all of which are for a distance of 100 km, in addition to the open race for a distance of 120 km, and are held over the course of Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The races are held under the supervision of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, with large participation from various stables in the country.
The activities will begin tomorrow with veterinary examinations for the horses participating in the first race at the private stables the day after tomorrow, Thursday, in addition to the weights of the riders, to approve the final lists.
His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, stressed that the His Highness the President of the State Endurance Cup is an occasion dear to everyone’s hearts, with its sublime symbolism in our hearts, its inspiring legacy, and its sustainable impact, in appreciation, gratitude, and loyalty to the wise leadership for its unlimited support for sports and athletes, and equestrian sports in particular.
He said that the participation of male and female knights in this tournament with the slogan “No loser, everyone is a winner,” because the goal is loftier, and the event deserves attention, and participation carries meanings of loyalty to our wise leadership, which has entrenched in our souls the values of giving, creativity, and competitiveness to raise the flag of the UAE in foreign forums, following the approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” in supporting these races and sustaining their continuity across generations.
He stressed the keenness of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation to produce the event with the best grades and indicators of technical success, provide a stimulating and encouraging environment for male and female knights, and present a distinctive version that will be added to the records of the successful tournament throughout its history, to enhance the prestigious reputation of the UAE in equestrian sports.
