المملكة: Minister of Industry: Increasing the localization rate to 31% and the volume of exports to 220 billion riyals


Explain Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, during Government press conference: The percentage of Saudization in the industrial sector increased from 29% in 2019 to 31%.
The volume of industrial exports also increased from 187 billion riyals to 220 billion riyals.
He said: "The number of industrial facilities increased from 8,000 industrial facilities in 2019, to more than 12,000 industrial facilities in mid-2025.". And also: "The percentage of local content in government procurement increased to 51.5% compared to 28%".

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources: The percentage of Saudization in the industrial sector increased from 29% in 2019 to 31%

He added: " Nearly 360,000 jobs were created in the industrial sector, bringing the number of jobs to 840,000 job opportunities"
He stated: "The Industrial Estates Authority was able to increase the number of industrial cities from 31 cities to 42 cities"
He continued: "We launched a comprehensive guide to the most prominent industrial capabilities provided by the system, to include 120 capabilities"

He continued: "The Industrial Development Fund was able to provide loans and credits worth about 93 billion since the launch of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 until the end of last October."
He said: "The Export-Import Bank has been able to provide financing exceeding one billion riyals since its establishment"
