Jeddah Book Fair 2025 enriches the cultural scene with thinking and creativity workshops
The Jeddah Book Fair 2025, organized by the Literature, publishing and translation under the slogan "Grandma is reading"Various cultural and knowledge programs, through a series of specialized workshops that attracted a remarkable attendance from visitors to the exhibition and those interested in literary and cultural affairs.
Diverse workshops and rich discussion
The exhibition activities witnessed the organization of a number of workshops that dealt with Developing critical thinking skills and methods of effective dialogue, and the importance of constructive discussion, in addition to highlighting the aesthetics of employing local dialects in contemporary writing, and their role in enriching literary texts and enhancing their proximity to the reader, while maintaining artistic and linguistic balance.
Other workshops discussed the foundations of writing influential dialogue in Literary and dramatic texts, and its role in developing narrative structure, deepening characters, and setting events in motion, which contributes to enhancing the quality and rhythm of literary work.
Building Narrative Writing
The workshop program also addressed advanced topics in creative writing, focusing on building imagined worlds in narrative narratives, especially in science fiction literature, by highlighting the importance of diverse reading, controlling the elements of the fictional world, building characters and their conflicts, and achieving a balance between description. And the narrative rhythm, which makes the text coherent and believable, while emphasizing the role of patience, gradualism, and accepting criticism in developing the writing experience.
The Jeddah Book Fair 2025 will receive its visitors at its headquarters in the square. "Jeddah Super Dome" Every day from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until twelve midnight, while receiving the public begins on Friday from two o’clock in the afternoon, as part of an integrated cultural program that extends over ten days, and includes specific activities that reflect the cultural and cognitive movement in the Kingdom.
