Hugh Jackman takes on the character of “Robin Hood” in a new cinematic vision

The Australian star, Hugh Jackman, will be the latest cinematic face to present the character of “Robin Hood” in a new historical cinematic film, titled “The Death of Robin Hood,” produced by the company “A 24,” which published pictures of the Australian star as the character “Robin Hood” on its official page on the “X” platform.

It is expected that the international star, Hugh Jackman, will present a new and dramatic version of the famous “Robin Hood” character, within a combination of human and epic events, which shows the character as the public knows him, from his love of helping the poor and robbing the rich.

According to the pictures published by the company producing the film, which is scheduled to be shown in April 2024, “Robin Hood” appears with older features, with a long white beard, messy hair filled with gray that reaches the length of the shoulders, and wearing a huge fur coat. To protect it from cold weather.

In press statements, Hugh Jackman expressed his admiration for director Michael Sarnosky’s vision of the character “Robin Hood” in the movie “The Death of Robin Hood,” noting that the scenario gives the character strength and examines how power can be used for good or evil. He also stressed that the story and scenario have important weight and a distinctive human character, as “Robin Hood” appears as a real human being with all his wounds, pain, remorse, and all his love.

The story of the movie “The Death of Robin Hood” revolves around the final stages of the life of the legendary “Robin Hood”, as he confronts his past full of incidents of murder and theft. It is said that the story is inspired by interwoven legendary stories, collected by director Michael Sarnosky in his new film.

The movie “The Death of Robin Hood” also presents a new vision of the character “Robin Hood,” through the star Hugh Jackman, a character previously portrayed by a large group of stars throughout cinematic history, most notably: Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn, Richard Todd, and Russell Crowe.

According to statements by the film’s director, Michael Sarnoski, the film is not just an action film, but sometimes comes close to the atmosphere of realistic war films, noting that the battles, in that period, were brutal.

Many stars participate in the work, alongside Hugh Jackman, most notably: Bill Skarsgård in the role of “Little John”, “Robin Hood’s” assistant and loyal companion. Jodie Comer is a mysterious character, not “Maid Marian,” but she shows a new sensitive side in “Robin’s” life.

Hugh Jackman’s last film was “Song Sung Blue”, which brought him together with the star Kate Hudson, where they embodied the characters of the musical couple: Mike and Claire Sardina, who founded a musical band, dedicated to honoring the songs of the star Neil Diamond in 1989, under the name “Lightning & Thunder”.
