All reports are simple and dealt with immediately, and the criticality is less than the daily rates

The Executive Director of the Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, Mishal Abdul Karim Julfar, confirmed that all the reports received by the Corporation, from yesterday, Thursday until today, Friday, during the period of weather fluctuations, were in general simple reports, and were dealt with immediately and in record time, whether at the reporting sites themselves or by transferring some of the cases that required it, indicating that the number of critical or dangerous reports was very limited compared to normal days.
He told «Emirates Today» that the decrease in critical reports is due to joint efforts between various concerned authorities in the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to activating the “remote work” system, which contributed to reducing traffic movement and reducing injuries and accidents, which reflected positively on the health and safety of members of society, stressing that the situation in Dubai is proceeding normally thanks to the great efforts made to reduce the repercussions of weather fluctuations.
He pointed out that the teams of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services were in a state of readiness and readiness around the clock since the weather condition and the weather depression formed, as an integrated field plan was implemented that relied on the thoughtful distribution of resources and ambulance vehicles in various regions of the emirate, ensuring a rapid response to all reports.
He added that the corporation’s teams work within a joint emergency system that includes all competent authorities, to follow up on the effects of the weather condition and deal immediately with any emergency report.
Julphar pointed out that the number of employees of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services was increased during this period to 425 employees, compared to about 300 employees on normal days, to ensure the provision of the necessary support and deal with any potential emergency with high efficiency, stressing the ability of the ambulance crews and the readiness of their capabilities to deal with various reports.
He also pointed out that the Corporation activated 157 various ambulance resources, including ambulances, four-wheel drive vehicles capable of accessing flooded or off-road roads, field support units, and ambulance boats to secure bodies of water, in addition to the air ambulance in cooperation with the Dubai Police Air Wing Center, within a flexible deployment plan that ensures quick access to reporting sites throughout the emirate.
The Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services praised the close cooperation with Dubai Health and government and private hospitals in transporting medical cases efficiently, praising at the same time the continued coordination and integration with the strategic partners in the emergency system, led by the Dubai Resilience Centre, Dubai Police, Civil Defence, Roads and Transport Authority, and Dubai Municipality.
Julfar stressed that the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services teams will continue to be on alert and prepared around the clock during the coming period, to ensure a rapid and effective response to any emergency report, stressing that the safety of community members is a top priority for the Corporation, in light of continued coordination and integration with the various concerned authorities in the emirate to deal with any developments with high efficiency.
