Today’s activities were opened with a workshop entitled “The Art of Theatrical Improvisation,” presented by Khaled Omar, during which he addressed the theoretical foundations and practical applications of the art of improvisation, and highlighted its role in refining the actor’s tools and enhancing his presence on stage, in addition to developing Skills of instantaneous interaction with dramatic situations, text transformations, and presentation.

And within Theatrical performances The play “Salam Barracks,” written and directed by Abdul-Ilah Al-Saikhan, and performed by the “DB House” group, emerged in an intense dramatic treatment that showcases the transformation of the house, as a symbol of security and tranquility, into a military barracks dominated by cruelty and in which the human dimension is marginalized, in an image that reflects the sharp contradiction between the meaning of peace and the reality of war.
