Strong competitions for drone racing in the Future Games – Abu Dhabi 2025

ABU DHABI, 22nd December / WAM / The digital drone competitions were launched within the activities of the Future Games – Abu Dhabi 2025, amid a remarkable audience presence at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), as the races witnessed competitions that combined advanced technology and high sporting skills.
The participating teams competed to complete 50 laps inside a large indoor circuit, carefully designed to include loops, corridors and tight turns, which imposed great challenges on the pilots and required high concentration and precision in controlling the aircraft.
The teams were also forced to manage their resources efficiently in light of the limited number of aircraft and batteries, while balancing speed, caution, timing of repairs and energy consumption, which gave preference to the teams that adopted smart strategies that ended the race without exhaustion.
On the other hand, the electronic football competitions witnessed the victory of the Troncos FC team over the Lokomotiv club 2-1 after losing the digital confrontation 1-0, before achieving victory in the physical match and qualifying for the semi-finals, where it prepares to face the Z10 club.
FC Mexico Quetzales – Armadillos and FC La Crema also qualified for the same round after strong matches.
The same day saw the determination of the four teams qualifying for the 3X3 Physico-Basketball semi-finals, namely BBC Astana, Liga Pro Team, Adria All Stars, and Moskovsky.
