Launching the UAE Government Innovation Framework course

Dubai, December 23 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation launched the “Government Innovation Framework in the UAE” course as part of a series of electronic courses that it offers through the “Innovate” platform. It was also included on the “Jahiz” platform, which is supervised by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, as part of the UAE government’s efforts to enhance the readiness of government cadres to keep pace with the requirements of the future.

The open course aims to enhance the sustainability of government innovation and use it to support entities in developing their work and designing their projects in accordance with national priorities.

The course provides government employees with a detailed explanation of the new framework, through seven video clips that present innovative planning mechanisms and tools that enable government agencies to keep pace with strategic priorities and build capabilities to transform ideas into tangible projects that achieve a positive impact on society.

The course ends with an exam that gives participants a certificate of completion, enabling them to manage the innovation process and develop ideas into tangible results, while enhancing the spirit of exploration and design to support the achievement of strategic goals.

The course comes as part of the government’s efforts to enhance the culture of innovation, consolidate creative thinking in government work, enable employees to develop their skills on a sustainable basis, and support the sustainability of government excellence.

Abeer Tahlak, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, confirmed that the new course represents a supportive initiative for cadres and government agencies, and an enabling tool for planning innovation and employing it in achieving strategic goals, noting that it constitutes an essential reference for chief executives of innovation to apply the framework and ensure sustainable results.

She added that the course provides a comprehensive and simplified perspective of the government framework through three pillars: innovation practices, innovation drivers, and innovation missions, while identifying planning, design, and implementation mechanisms to make innovation a strategic element and a sustainable practice in government work.

For his part, Zayed Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Director of the Human Resources Development Department at the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, confirmed that including the “UAE Government Innovation Framework” course on the “Jahiz” platform, in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, helps the Authority enhance integration with government partners and build an integrated digital learning system that enables employees to adopt a culture of innovation and creative thinking on a daily basis, which contributes to developing institutional performance and achieving sustainable government leadership.

The “Innovate” platform is the first Arab platform to promote a culture of innovation in government work, as it allows the dissemination and dissemination of successful experiences and models in innovation, and offers a group of open scientific courses that adopt global methodologies and innovative work tools.

This approach contributes to establishing a culture of innovation within government agencies, and enabling employees to devise solutions to the challenges facing their agencies, ensuring the development of services and raising efficiency, while enhancing readiness for the future and stimulating positive change.

As for the “Jahiz” platform, which is supervised by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, it is the largest integrated digital platform for developing the future skills of UAE government employees. It focuses on preparing cadres to face the challenges of the future through an interactive and personal learning experience. It has been able to reach more than 64,000 learners through 86 training programs within four main groups of future skills.

“Jahiz” relies on more than 30 strategic partners, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation through the “Innovate” platform.
