المملكة: Islamic Affairs in Jazan implements a number of volunteer opportunities to care for the houses of God


The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by its branch in the Jazan region, implemented a number of volunteer opportunities to care for the houses of God, including Arranging, cleaning and perfuming, and it continued for two days starting from the fourteenth of the month of Jumada al-Akhirah of the year 1447 AH.

In Al-Eidabi Governorate, the Voluntary Work Unit in the Mosque Administration implemented a volunteer initiative entitled "Our mosques are fragrant"aimed for Perfuming and fumigating mosques, mosques, and women’s prayer halls, in addition to inspecting and arranging the Qur’an, for a period of five days starting on the eleventh of the same month.

These volunteer opportunities targeted (10) mosques, mosques, and women’s prayer halls, with the participation of (131) male and female volunteers, and a total of (1,600) volunteer hours, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and teamwork in serving the houses of God.

These efforts come within the directives and follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, which emphasizes the importance of enabling volunteer work, enhancing its role in serving the houses of God, and consolidating the values of giving and solidarity in society.
