Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project expands its partnership with "UUDS AERO"

Dubai, December 23 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in “Dubai South” announced the expansion of its partnership with the “UUDS AERO” company, which will work on developing two new hangars capable of accommodating three wide-body aircraft, for the work of completing and modernizing the cabins.
He said, according to a press release issued today, that this expansion enhances the role of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in enabling the next stage of innovation in the sector, and reflects UUDS’ continued commitment to supporting the needs of the thriving aviation market in the region.
As part of this expansion, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project will develop the company’s cabin excellence center on an area of 40,000 square meters within the manufacturing and supply chain area, to be the first of its kind in the region, and a new pillar of Dubai’s growing position as an international destination for the aviation sector.
Tahnoun Saif, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, said that the partnership with “UUDS AERO” is constantly developing in line with the project’s vision to build an integrated, world-class aviation system in Dubai, and that the launch of the Center of Excellence for Cabins is an important milestone for the region, as it enhances industrial capabilities and supports engineering, manufacturing and innovation environments in cabins.
For his part, Gil Negri, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of UUDS, said that the new hangars and the upcoming center will allow strengthening the company’s capabilities in completing and modernizing the cabins and providing environmentally friendly and more efficient solutions.
He explained that Dubai South’s vision, its integrated structure, and its global connectivity make it the ideal location for innovation and contribution to the future of the aviation sector.
“UUDS AERO” is an integrated center for cabin completion and modernization services, and holds all basic certificates from the European Aviation Safety Agency and the General Civil Aviation Authority, and its services include design, approval, manufacturing, maintenance, and implementation of aircraft-related services, in addition to innovative technologies and environmental solutions.
It is noteworthy that the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project provides international companies in the field of aviation with investment opportunities. It is a free zone for the world’s leading airlines, private aviation companies, aircraft maintenance, repair and renewal companies and related activities.
The project is located within “Dubai South”, which developed it to be a center for various types of maintenance and a destination for training and education, and to enhance engineering industries in a way that supports the emirate’s vision to become a leading global aviation centre.
