The Audit Authority in Ajman accelerates the readiness of financial auditing in support of the efficiency of government agencies

Ajman, December 23 / WAM / The Ajman Financial Audit Authority reviewed, during a coordination meeting, the methodology for evaluating the work of external auditors at government agencies in preparation for auditing the data for the fiscal year 2025, in a step that mainly aims to keep pace with the government’s trends towards zeroing out bureaucracy, accelerating the government work cycle, and enhancing the efficiency of financial and supervisory services at the emirate level.
This meeting comes within an integrated government approach that aims to develop the financial audit system, unify oversight efforts, and raise the level of coordination between government agencies, which contributes to accelerating the completion of oversight work, improving the efficiency of the flow of financial data, and raising the quality of reports, in a way that supports planning and decision-making requirements at the emirate level.
This approach focuses on verifying the extent of external auditors’ compliance with the terms of contracts concluded with them, which enhances the effectiveness of the audit process, increases the reliability of accounting outputs, contributes to enhancing the efficiency of public spending, and consolidates the principles of governance and transparency in government work.
This step reflects the Ajman government’s keenness to build an agile and interconnected government system capable of accelerating procedures, improving the quality of financial data, and supporting government agencies’ readiness for future entitlements, in a way that enhances the emirate’s institutional competitiveness and keeps pace with its trends towards a more efficient and flexible government in providing services.
