المملكة: Urgent: Starting from Al Sharqiya… a week of rain and fog covers 11 regions
Affected by The National Center of Meteorology issued alerts calling for caution and following safety instructions.
Meteorological forecasts revealed that the rainy situation will not be limited to the eastern region only, but rather its impact will extend to include parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Qassim, in addition to the southwestern highlands in Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan, and the northern regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the northern border.
The National Center of Meteorology alerted in its daily report to There is a high possibility of the formation of rainy thunderstorm clouds accompanied by high-speed winds, which leads to the raising of dust and dirt and low horizontal visibility on highways and open roads in the affected areas.
Civil Defense Instructions
Meteorology warned of the dangers of the formation of dense fog during the night and early morning periods, especially on the mountain highlands and parts of the eastern region, Hail, Al-Jawf, the northern border, and Tabuk, which requires increased caution from vehicle drivers.
The concerned authorities stressed the need to adhere to civil defense instructions, avoid valley bottoms and flood streams, and follow up on real-time updates on the weather situation through official channels to ensure the safety of everyone during the period of weather fluctuations.
