المملكة: Ministry of Hajj: More than 11.9 million times performing Umrah during Jumada al-Akhirah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced that the total number of times performed Umrah for pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom during the month of Jumada al-Akhirah alone exceeded (11.9) million times, according to official statistics issued by the two authorities; Which reflects the increased frequency of performing Umrah, in light of the efficiency of Performing the rituals easily and conveniently.
Developing the Hajj and Umrah system
This increase in the number of times Umrah is performed comes within the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to develop the Hajj, Umrah and visitation system, and achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by facilitating the arrival of Muslims from all over the world to the Two Holy Mosques, and providing an integrated spiritual experience concerned with the comfort and safety of the pilgrim from the moment of planning the trip until his departure from the Kingdom.
The Ministry continues The authority is implementing joint initiatives to raise the quality of services provided within the Two Holy Mosques and at various points of the journey, in addition to developing digital and operational systems to ensure a smoother and more reassuring experience for the pilgrims.
